All remote work agreements being canceled. Lots of people being forced out at my command because they can't move back. Command is not making exceptions for them to work in any federal building. They must come back to the command for work with everyone else.

Who knows how many people moved away and aren't remote workers because they just decided to not tell anyone and slide under the radar. Now they have until Friday to get their stuff and get back.

When did you hear this? That's not enough time for anyone.

NAVWAR put our notice out on Friday Jan 31st.
For those that do it show up they are terminated as march 1. DON also put out early retirement offers ; not the for in the road one.

“Lethality” they actually used this word in the document. Do they know what it means? This is bush league stuff.

I think friends and colleagues should rent group houses and wait it out.

Cite? Our command is actually leasing new buildings (not in DC) to put people into.

DLA is full with people who have been coming in five days already. No room in the inn.

Love to know what those DLA folks are doing. They can't get jack done.

Oh, don’t worry. They’ll make room. It’ll be cozy.

There are some facilities they're calling in hundreds more people in on Monday than there are parking spaces and some of the facilities aren't accessible via public transportation.

Navy Yard they've warned people will be a zoo. Metro in if you can I guess.

Watching them weaken the military like this is just shocking.

In a sub agency of DOD

We got a few days notice but we felt it was coming. CBA agreement torn up, all telework canceled. Telework is a “privilege not a right” written in the CBA and its at the supervisors discretion. However, that’s gone because the union language wasnt strong enough.

Our best employee is 50+ miles away, has been teleworking for more than 10 years. We’ll see how long they last. Shame

Any further updates? All the feds and contractors I work with in DOD are status quo so far.

Sub agency of DoD here. We are told to report in person on Monday. Everyone except those 50+ miles away. If you are outside of the radius, you have 4 months to either relocate or work out an arrangement with non agency government facility.

Private businesses are forcing those RTO, so why should the government who was pushing them to do it, not do it?

I wonder if doctors will be required to see patients again in person..
