| Never. They don't have queen beds in college |
I had a full in high school and had no problem sharing an twin in college (oh to be young and in love). I actually sleep in a bed that's close to a xl twin as an adult and it's been fine as well. |
| We've been thinking about swapping out my 11 year old's twin bed for a full, but since her room is the larger one, it's where she and her sister play and they like having floor space. |
| Full sized at maybe 4 so we could read together. I hated the twin. Would have done a queen but room too small |
| No need to upgrade |
| Wasn’t planning on it but moved to a house with a built in queen that was the only room that worked for a kid room. The twin beds went to the guest room. DC is freaked out by the big bed so has filled it with stuffed animals so it’s basically twin sized anyway. |
This. For both of them. |
| Went from fulls to queens for both when they were 7 and 9. (Also went from a queen to king for us at the same time so it was a win win). |
| We went from cribs to queens for all three of our kids. I love being able to sleep in there when they're sick or having a bad night. |
|
We bought a house with abnormally big bedrooms. Oldest got a king and a twin daybed when he was three. Middle got a Queen and a twin bunk bed when he moved out of the crib. Youngest got a Queen when he left the crib.
They all sleep together in the King years later. |
This. |
| Twins is it. That’s what I had and my brothers and my cousins. Bigger isn’t necessary and so we will stick with the twins we got them when they were 3. Swapping out and buying new furniture at this point is wasteful. College is less than 5 years away. |
| My kids went from crib to a full size bed at 2. They've never used a twin. |
| I got a queen bed in high school. |
|
We have 3 kids. Oldest DD got a queen at 8. We needed a 2nd guest room because my SIL often comes when my MIL and FIL do. She has a long term bf and I want to make sure he feels welcome by having a queen for them (in-laws are in guest room queen).
My 3rd dd is 5 years younger and will move into that room when my oldest dd graduates high school. 3rd child dd has an extremely small room. My middle child who is a boy has a nice room already and won’t move. |
