| We own two Teslas. We’ve taken them on many long trips - there are Tesla superchargers pretty much everywhere. There might be better EVs, I really don’t know, but we have the Y and the 3 and are very happy, even though I dislike Musk. I’d probably still buy another Tesla because they’ve been good, reliable cars for our family. |
| Toyota and not an EV. |
| Obviously you don’t get a Tesla. |
| It’s not even debatable, of course a Tesla. What is this 1995? |
| Putting aside the Elon issue. Tesla design is just tired now. Equivalent to buying a Corolla |

VW is offering a crazy cheap lease deal on the ID.4. Something like $1K at signing and $149/month.
Great car at that price point. |
+1 Will definitely buy another Tesla. They are great vehicles! |
You seem like a reasonable, rational person. What are you doing on DCUM? |
No they are not. Tesla is about to go through some things. Its Chinese competitors is going to crush it. Oh and EU pension holders just sold all Tesla stock. You are a moron if you buy a musk vehicle not to mention racist very studious you can not figure out how unreliable they are |

Buy a 1 year old used Tesla so Elon doesn't get the $$.
That being said, we have two electric cars, a Tesla and a Volvo--the Volvo has some weird electrical things sometimes like "backup camera is unavailable" and dumb temporary stuff like that. It does ride nicer than the Tesla. DH will probably keep is 5 year old Tesla until it literally falls apart, since he loves that car but doesn't want to give Elon more $$ at this point. |
Nope. Tesla is behind the times. Car companies have to continually reinvest to keep up with competition. Tesla has not and is being left in the dust. This is why Musk wants to stop any competition. |
More like 2015 with your perspective. |
This. There hasn't been anything innovative out of Tesla in years. |
| I would definitely go with a new Tesla. |

Lexus if you prioritize value
And I agree with PPs. I'm anti-Musk but not anti-Tesla. I just think the Tesla design feels super outdated and looks bland. And that's saying a lot since Lexus isn't exactly the bell of the ball either. |
