Would you go on vacation to Hong Kong?

Make it a jumping off point for south or southwest China (which is what I did) or SE Asia. (I went to Guangxi and Yunnan.)

I'd keep a very close eye on any Covid protocols -- I'm not sure if Hong Kong had all the same lockdown issues.

I was just there this summer. I couldn't see any Covid protocols that were particularly onerous. No requirement to mask or even to show you were vaccinated to enter. The food was amazing, lots of interesting things to do with or without kid.

Sure, for a few days. It is a decent stopover for other Asian locations.

I go diving in Asia annually and usually stop over somewhere. I get my tickets 9 months + in advance, so I’ve been avoiding Taiwan. I just don’t trust that political situation to hold.

Was there in the late 80s, no need to go back except as possibly a few days stop on my way to or from somewhere else
