Assume no children. Why or why not? |
Zero interest |
Absolutely. Why not? |
Yes, I would (and have). |
If someone else was paying. I'm poor. I can't afford things like that. |
No way |
It was wonderful when I went to Hong Kong in 1992.
I certainly would not go back now. And that’s a shame. |
I have but wouldn’t again (deteriorating political/security situation and didn’t find it all that interesting as a travel destination the first time around many years ago) |
Ditto |
No. The risk of issues with the totalitarian government is not worth taking. |
Also my friends who lived there at the time have all since left for the West. |
I just went for a business trip, had not been in decades but have spent a lot of time in Asia.
I would only go if: I could fly business class or lay flat seats, and if I was going there for 2-3 days and then going on to other parts of china or Asia. There was great food and cool sightseeing, and it is very safe of course for westerners. Otherwise, it would get boring for a week long or more trip, and I think you need at least a week and more like a few weeks to see Asian places and to deal with the jet lag. |
I live in Hong Kong. Do you have any specific questions? |
Yes I have! It was fabulous. Amazing food, sightseeing, shopping, cultural sights, did I mention the food sights and shopping. Amazing!! |
no too long plane ride |
