I get that it is a solid piece and probably cost that much when they bought it, but is there even a market for these? And who in their right mind would spend so much on used furniture unless its some rare piece?

What do you mean? On FB marketplace, you click the person's photo to see all of the things they're selling and then there's a "view profile" button to see their account.

Anyone shopping on there should research who the sellers are. There are too many scammers.
