| I wouldn't reject AIs as they are pretty easy with family. I am not a big drinker or eater but the food in the Caribbean can be really expensive so a lot of the time you save money with the AI even if you aren't eating a lot. |
Plus also my kids loved that they could get cupcakes and ice cream whenever they wanted lol. |
| Long flight but Hawaii? Hilton Waikoloa has a lagoon beach that would be good with young kids. And there’s plenty of stuff to do in Hawaii if the kids tire of sun and sand. |
This just go on a Disney cruise. Make sure it stops castaway cay their island in Bahamas. At 4 my kid like Curaçao. Most hotels aren’t all inclusive. Nice beaches and shallow with no slides. There were nice restaurants in walking distance of hotel. Probably one of our favorite islands Also Vieques PR we didn’t go there with kids but the beaches were amazing, the water calm (at the time I was a non swimmer and it was fine even for me). You rent a house, rent a beater of a car and drive off road to some amazing beaches. |

Disney cruise
Marriott Aruba Beaches Turks and Caicos Even if you went to a resort with all the bells and whistles, you don’t have to go on a water slide or drink a boozy drink. Do the activities that work for your family and avoid the others. |
| Go to Miami and stay at the loews |
| Hawks Cay in the Keys might work. They have a lagoon and a nice pirate ship splash zone but no water slides. |
Thank you! I am certainly tempted to do Florida for the travel convenience and budget. But will Florida be too cold and/or overrun by college spring breakers? |
| Coco La Palm in Negril, Jamaica. Not all-inclusive, so it’s reasonably priced, but the beach is beautiful, and the water shallow and super calm, so very safe for little kids. If the older one wants slides there is a Beaches on the same strip where you can buy a day pass. |
| Since you have a big budget, what about Ritz Carlton Naples? They have a few pools, a decent beach (I don't love Gulf Coast beaches--I'm a South Carolina girl who loves the big expansive beaches) with service right to your cabana, and a kids club. So even if they aren't that adventurous, you could coax the 6-year-old at least to do some arts and crafts and things that keep him occupied. |

Grand Cayman Ritz would fit your criteria. There is a small water park, plus white sand, non wavy beaches.
I also think the Naples suggestions are good - Ritz or JW Marco. Naples doesn’t get the college spring break crowd so I would not worry about that. There’s also a zoo in Naples for a non beach day. |
I'm not sure why you expect a 6 y.o do to more than play in the sand and splash in the water at the beach, but you're probably overthinking this. Since your budget is sizeable, I'd recommend the Nickelodeon resorts in DR or Mexico. If you don't want to do that, then Hyatt Ziva is another nice option. I guess I understand the apprehension about all-inclusives, but it really makes things easier when traveling with kids. |
Wanted to add that you should probably consider resorts with well-reviewed kids clubs/activities (my recommendations above have both). It'll help with the "non-adventurous" 6 y.o. and the 3 y.o. that can't do much. |

Four Seasons Orlando, Ritz Key Biscayne.
With your requirements, I really wouldn't take the hassle of leaving the country. Also college spring break is not the same time as primary school spring break. |

If I had $25-30 to drop for a week, I'd probably use a travel agent.
Offhand I was thinking Beaches Turks and Caicos for you. |
