Am I alone in not being a fan of Glowscreen?

Bought a bottle and have been using it for a couple of weeks. I feel like I just look like a greasy mess! Essentially it looks like I’ve coated my whole face in highlighter. Am I the only one?

I've literally never loved a face/makeup/skincare product more than Glowscreen. It has a really elegant feel, goes on smoothly, beautifully. So in love.

Have you ever tried Japanese or Korean SPF products? Because Glowscreen has like the least elegant feel compared to any of them, it might as well be paste. Even against the 6 dollar stuff you would buy in a 7/11, Glowscreen comes up way behind.

Where are what do you get?

Yes, that all sounds great please tell us a brand and store!

I use glowscreen. It is a bit shiny but I don’t find it feels like a paste or feels greasy.
I use the other supergoop sunscreens eg Play.
They all feel nice enough that I’m willing to use these daily even when it’s cloudy, which I never did before.

But obviously there’s always something better. If that’s important to you, keep searching.

I use the glow screen(golden hour)as a “primer” of sorts, cc cream (226w) over that and seal with the setting powder(medium). This combo is gentle, bright and never settles in pores or creases. I have very sensitive skin and have had absolutely no troubles with these products. I just bought the resetting spray so I can keep on top of the spf through the day.

Glowscreen is awful. Sits on top of your skin, heavy, sticky. I tried to use up my tube since it was pricey but ended up developing an allergy to it halfway through the bottle.

+1. It's horrible. All silicone and makes me break out immediately and I'm not particularly breakout prone. I agree with the recommendations for Korean and Japanese sunscreens. Biore UV Rich Watery Essence is my favorite.

I can only use it underneath makeup. I’m pale and even the lightest one (Dawn) is a little too pink/dark for me. It’s ok under foundation though— not the best primer but not awful.

I prefer EltaMD for my no makeup days.

I’ve been using Eucerin sunscreen, both tinted and regular. Love it!

It’s chemical ss. I found it to be very greasy. When I used half my usual amount it was ok. I prefer mineral ss
