| I'm embracing them more and more as I hit 40 and now dress only to make myself happy. - White/Ashkenazi lady. |
| Tell me you are white without telling me you are white. |

| I don’t think hoops ever go out of style although sometimes they are hotter than others. But you can always wear them if you like without being out of fashion. Especially if you’re going for the Latina JLo thing, or even if not (smaller hoops!) |
| The big fake gold ones with your name in them… Imani, Shanice, Jazmine. |
|
Links to classic gold hoops that will stand out with long hair? Not too big; looking for something thick and classy.
I’m mid-40s and would like to wear them to work with blouses, sweaters, suits, etc. |
| I recently started wearing them again after going though my jewelry. I have been wearing them regularly to the office the past few months rotating them 1,2 and 3 inch inch hoops. I think my next pair is going to be some diamond hoops |
| They've never been out of style. I'm 42 and haven't stopped wearing them since high school. |
Same. I never stopped wearing them (nor did my family—Italians) |
Why not just wear what you like. You will either "fit in" or else be a "trend setter". Fashion is cyclical in nature and constantly regurgitated. |
| Jlo recently had on big hoops. Anyway they never go out of style |
| They have been trending hard for 5ish years. I love them. But, I'll warn that I suspect that they have peaked. We are moving into an era of "statement" jewelry, and elegant jewelry. So if you want to buy ones, I'd keep that in mind. We are currently at a fashion inflection point. Elegance and glamour are going to dominate the next few years. |
| just met up for coffee with my friends 4 out of the 6 of them today were wearing hoop earrings. |
Same and I’m 52. And I wear *gasp* yellow gold. |
| Jody Watley called she wants her earrings back!! |
