I'm seeing hoop earrings in stores but not as much IRL on people. The hoop earring look with a diamond stud in the second hole was my favorite late 90s look. Think I wore it way past when it was in so I'm curious if it's back!

| The little hoops (huggies and slightly bigger) have been trendy the last few years but I'm seeing some bigger hoops now too. Although personally I think hoops are a classic look that don't really go "out" |
I agree. Hoops are never out of fashion, except when they are large. My gold James Avery hoops are a classic. |
| I've always worn hoops. Medium sized and sometimes I even wear them to work😮 |
Yes! I'm actually sporting a pair right now
|
| I never saw them disappear. |
| I don't think hoops ever went out of fashion, OP. They are timeless. |
| Lady, they were never out! |
| They don’t get caught in masks, also helpful |
Plus, I don't think OP knows any women of color if she's asking this question. |
| I've always worn them. I have small and medium ones for work and a range in larger sizes for anytime. I even wear large ones to work occasionally. And I usually wear a little diamond stud or another stud in my second holes. |
| They are timeless! |
I meant medium to big hoops, not the little ones. Where I live, they disappeared about 10 years ago in favor of tiny stud earrings. Wish I live where you do! |
| I only wear hoops. Don't care what's in or out - I thought that was for junior high kids. Adults should be confident enough to wear whatever they like that they feel confident in. Anna Wintour doesn't tell me what shade of blue to pick out at Casual Corner - I decide that for myself! Just kidding - I'll pick cerulean. |
Where in the world do you live that hoops disappeared 10 years ago? |
