| I have fallen in love with the name and would love to name our DD some variation of the name. I just wanted to get some feedback....thoughts DCUM? |
Reminds me of the show firefly. If I'm pronouncing it correctly!
If you like it go with it!!!! |
| Inari is sushi rice in a little tofu wrap. That's all I would think of if I heard that word because it's my favorite sushi. |
| I don't really like it but I guess that's just my taste. There's nothing wrong with those names. I don't think they are strikingly bad by any means. If you love it, go for it. |
| I share both the Firefly and sushi associations. It is a pretty name. |
| It makes me think of videogames! |
| HORRIBLE names. |
| Do any of these names mean something in your native language? If your native language is English, then is there some sci-fi/fantasy novel character you are naming your kid after? It's the kind of questions your kid and yourselves are going to get with these type of exotic unusual names. |
| These names make very little sense to me. I'm pretty much with PP who said horrible. Maybe I need to eat more sushi or watch TV. I have never heard of a tv show called Firefly. |
+1 |
| OP here....Japanese is my language and yes, the name is Japanese. |
loved that show and the actress that portayed Inari! |
The character's name was Inara, not Inari. But, Inari sounds very ethnic (South Asian). |
| It's your baby, and if you love the name then use it!!! |
| Reminds me of Atari. |
