If you are a 2011 FVU player, I can’t see how you don’t at least attend a few GA practices so you have options.
Also I bet if FVU hears they will immediately start promising things. You can only benefit.

Simply because the competition drops significantly in GA. If they are serious and want to remain competitive as a player, dropping to GA isn’t the right path.

Wonder how many of the GA teams would lose to VDA worse than 5-0.
probably not much considering they would probably actually practice on a full field or maybe even have a scrimmage as a lead up. They also would have some motivation to beat an ecnl team. FVU season done pretty much girls played as such.

Girls who are looking to go D1 don’t show up to games and not try.

That’s unnecessarily harsh.

Coach set the unserious tone before the game by how he set lineup.
awww someone didn’t start?! Please do tell what the lineup should have been? And how that would have changed the outcome against VDA.

The lineup is to blame? Really?! Not the prep? Not the much ballyhooed Rondos and 30min practices? Regardless I thought coach put his best out there. I mean some of your call ups started right? They should have certainly carried if they are on par with the other call ups at the game. Since that is the measurement and all. The team played very dysfunctional and selfish. Kinda like the coach wuddayaknkoooo?!

Parents who are looking for kids to go D1 demand better.

As others posted he lacked the creds. His time at NVA was filled balancing a new family while trying to get the creds. Resulted in PL/RP babysitting a stressed out DB. I can be empathetic to a lack of sleep and pressure to perform. With that said FVU parents should have done their due diligence. Red flags as soon as CW was on the sidelines. I bet that is why they never traveled for showcases. CW cant clone himself and split coaching on the pitch.

So no showcase for you (thats a seinfield joke if you 40+).

Those parents are pissed now lol. Thats a whole season wasted.

They aren’t pissed. They will be back next year.
as they were prior seasons. Crazy thing is the mclean team parents got it right and are flourishing in GA. FVU parents will stay. MV will send kids to meaningless ID sessions and the $$ will continue coming in.

I would say the NC teams are flourishing. NOVA teams including McLean are mid table.
this is actually true… McLean is-putting up a fight. Rest of the teams not so much

Have you watched McLean play? Don’t let the table fool you.
compared to who in this region exactly? Rest of yall are at the bottom

Didnt yall lose three in a row?
now this unnecessarily harsh what say you McLeanittes?!

oh they tried. Tried plenty to be noticed with all that dribbling only to be locked up by the defense in the midfield. Which was noticed. Good luck in IDs.

Love watching FVU and FVU South moms and dads go at it each other on the board.

indeeed like a sore thumb they stick out. Mmmhmm. DDs couldn’t even find the open players with either rotation. Talking about lineups. Very small handful of players know how to play as a team. Dysfunction is inherited

While we are blazing on Coach credentials-- does the ARL 2010 and 2013 coach have... a license?

You mean FVU N (Bethesda) and FVU south (SYC and VDA)? Because this nonsense didn’t exist before.

Amazing that DB gets roasted for a full year about credentials, but within seconds that ARL is mentioned you post that credentials are not required. Which I happen to agree with, ECNL only requires attending yearly training. Everyone else here is wrong but you. But I do wonder why you were quiet for the last year - suspicious and morally dubious. You are obviously quick to defend your club, but quiet when anyone else is maligned. Shame.

Yet somehow you were also reading and responding to this thread within 6 minutes and chose not to mention it. Sounds suspicious and morally dubious.

you are calling out hypocrisy and im so here for this.

For the uninformed both teams are in wildly different trajectories with very different sideline vibes. Not trying to absolve that other coach of his team gripes but I am curious what other coaches are under the radar and how their teams are doing. That Arl coach is not going anywhere but if you let this board tell it he should.

Coaches can coach w/o licenses under certain circumstances. ECnL coaches go through CpD and should push for a C license to breathe and be able to participate in everything. Not all coaches do this however. And some coaches have backgrounds that allow waivers.

https://ussoccerplayers(.)com/soccer-training-tips/coaching-licenses#:~:text=Candidates%20need%20to%20have%20had%20the%20C,requires%20the%20equivalent%20of%20a%20UEFA%20B

Quite surprisingly different on planet Girls Academy. Reqs are similar with tighter deadlines.

Which brings me to my point of this may be a GA canary to watch if said coach does get his licenses in the next month or two

dirty laundry stays clean in Amazonia. With that said the coach being poked with is punctual and has none of the issues coach DB is being looped with. Apples and oranges down to the records and the clubs and their facilities and/or lack thereof.

Not a good comparison at all. Borderline disrespectful comparison.

There are tangible and intangible coaching/club standards and they are not the same.

FVU N makes sense. What is FVU South?
