Oh how I love this! But alas, Sasha is a girl. |
Sasha is also short for Alexander. In Europe. |

+1 I get giddy every time I see this thread bumped because PP is my all-time favorite poster ever. My kids are Anna, Elsa, and Claire. (FWIW Anna was born in 2008 and Elsa 2010, so I promise we were not inspired by Frozen!) |

Your agreement with DH was that he could name the boys and you would name the girls. In his family giving the boys a family name was really important. He grew up on Long Island and you grew up in a little town in Humbolt County. You are an opposites attract story in every way! You met in NYC the summer after college. You were teaching in a day camp for refugee children and his uncle got him a sweet gig working for the parks department. You met when he was doing some work near where you would take the camp kids to play. For him, it was love at first sight and he kept asking you out. You weren't so sure, but being open to people is an important value to you so you gave him a chance. 20 years later, you love the man and he worships you-and makes sure to tell that to everyone he meets. |
