I have not taken daily vitamins since I was pregnant.
What are 50 year-old women supposed to be taking? Calcium? Omega 3s? B vitamins? |

I take 5,000 IUs of Vitamin D and 1,000 mg of Vitamin C. |

Get tested. Every woman I know who is over 50 that has been tested was vitamin D deficient. |
| 5,000 is a lot of vitamin D. Did the doc/gyn. recommend it? I was deficient (as is my mom and sister) so did the 55,000 units for 8 weeks until I was up to normal. Now only 2,000 a day. Also you should be taking calcium for bones. fish oils or flaxseed for brain and eyes. |
