Power to be restored Fri @ 11 pm - Pepco's default?

| I noticed that when I check Pepco's service map, they say we'll be up and running again by Friday at 11 pm. I keep hearing that same date/time estimate from other folks without power, all over the place. I'm guessing Pepco has no idea and is throwing out a distant estimate until they actually get us on the docket? I'm really hoping that's the case... |

Probably their worst case scenario. I called multiple times (recording) to get updates. The first one said July 2 and the second one said up to a week. My power was restored on June 30.
That has been my experience in prior outages. I've always gotten power back before the estimate. |

| Earlier today, that was the estimate for my address. Our power came back on at 6:30 pm this evening. |

| According to Pepco our while neighborhood is out..but we have had power since Saturday. Not complaining. |

| So basically, the service map is useless. Pepco figures out how long it will take to get everyone's service restored, tacks that up on the map, and calls it a day. I suppose I shouldn't have expected anything more. |

| My Pepco outage report says that power will be restored Friday but no team has been assigned. I have a feeling it's going to be a looooooooooong time. |

| I spoke to Pepco a couple of times on Sunday and always got the Friday at 11pm response. Even after I mentioned that a street in our neighborhood got their power back. We ended up getting it back late Sunday night. I think they are just trying to manage expectations and think people will be happy if it comes back before Friday. |

| Same thing. Power went out Sunday, only message was Friday 11 pm with no crew assigned. Power came back on at 4 am this morning. |
