Of course she's presumed innocent until proven guilty, but

A) it's not looking like she'l innocent and
B) even if she didnt' drown the animals, she admitted to euthenizing the wallaby, and they're not disputing that they don't have a licence/the propper training

I agree! No more Reston Zoo. Everybody stay away and hopefully they'll finally go out of business. These animals are sufferieng and it's just not right.

What do you think will happen to the animals if they go out of business?
Anonymous
They'll be sold to more reputable caretakers.

Doubtful. It's too much of a goldmine in Reston. They'll pay a fine, get some new licenses and won't miss a beat.

If people stop going there, they cannot stay in business. Why do people go to this place? It's pathetically sad. I just don't get it.

12:14, you may be right but I don't want to help them do it.

Then again, maybe you're wrong and the animals will be taken away and placed in the National Zoo or some type of wildlife sanctuary.

Thank you for posting this link--I will never take my children there again.

My family has only ever had a fun time there. It's a small little zoo. You can't go there expecting the San Diego Zoo.
It's fun for little kids to let them feed some goats.

Yeah, because the National Zoo has such a great track record of caring for animals.

We have never had a fun time there because the animals just look pathetic and sad and unkempt. It ends up being a depressive experience for us all. I have heard most other parents say the same thing. I am surprised to hear folks post here that they enjoy it. I have never heard anyone in real life say this. Not doubting you, just saying it is outside of my own personal realm of experience.

I'll go back. You can stay home, less crowds for me.

As if these types of things don't happen at larger zoos. Just a few years ago there was the big feral car poisoning story at DC's National Zoo. So have you stopped going there, are you boycotting the National Zoo too??

Wow. Gross.

yea, I remember the Nat'l Zoo story too.
How quickly we forget.

Anyone still boycotting the Nat'l Zoo?

+1 - Of course you realize we only boycott convenient things.
