Well, on the other hand those that got their tush handed to them now know just were they are on the peaking order and what they need to do to do better. Honestly though if Jeff Cup wouldn't allow them to play up that's on them. They played in the top bracket, those were suppossed to be the "best" teams. Guess they weren't. |
Super teams happen all the time. I'm west coast but the same thing happens at Surf Cup with the youngers. The players on these type of teams are usually early developers and are under extreme pressure to win from their parents, coaches, and trainers. These type of teams are advertising for private coaching / training groups. Unfortunately after 18-0 games parents will hunt them down begging them to take their money to make their kid a superstar. Some of the kids truly are unicorn level talent on these teams. When they get older 50/50 on who continues to play and who quits. |
Useless comment for 2015s. 2015s don't expect a super team from across the country to show up. 2015s how many times do i have to mention it. They're so young and this is all so stupid. |
Put the liquor down. I know it’s Monday and St. Patrick’s Day, but take it easy. |
| he's right, GA's entire online footprint and social media platform is teir 3 just like the league itself. I'll drink to that!! |
Scouts have already viewed the players and gone home. You're a little too involved with a youth girls soccer website. |
Now you’re commenting on your own posts as if you’re someone else. Yikes. |
| Lmao. Dude is nuts. |
| I like that the people involved in a forum that goes by "DCUMS" are putting out Yikes over comments on how bad the GA is. really, DCUMS?? absolutely zero awareness. Get you head out of the ground and realize that the GA is going to end up just like the DA and file for bankruptcy in the next few years. stop feeding into your coaches and club directors crap about how the two league are pretty much the same. let me guess, you're probably paying a hundred bucks a few times a weeks for little Rylie to get her one on one training because she's almost made the uswnt. you're a joke and probably an overweight middle aged parent that always got cut from the good tems growing up so now it's time to go nuts over your 9 year old because she made the B team in some second rate GA club. live it up DCUMS people!! |

Breathe Big Dawg….
RL is a perfectly good option too don’t let them tell you any different |
If that were to happen it wouldve already happened. Remember what stopped the train before was COVID.....that is no longer the case.....i bet your one of those parents who like to say there kid is on an ECNL team but dont tell them your kid doesnt get any playing time. So when they say whens your next game so they can come support, you have some lame excuse so they cant come and watch....oh my kid hurt ankle...oh my kid has special school project and wont be attending etc..... i've seen it all.. most DMV folks just want to say the kid plays club knowing that 99% of the world does not know what that even is so you can brag to your friends at the office and keep your so called status. I see this all the time and funny how tones change when you realize that your FOS... GA ECNL whatever.....end of the day...who is playing the best competition??? for the respective area |
|
if you don't play in the GA you have very little shot at playing D1 girls soccer much less college at all.
,....oh wait |
Most kids just want to play in college...but it usually the "Parents" that say D1....not the kids....just saying... |
If you don't play on one of the top 20 girls ECNL teams you won't get noticed by D1 recruiters? Which top 20 Club does your kid play for? Oh wait.... |
|
One of the most annoying characteristics of girls ECNL parents is how the ones with kids playing on sucky ECNL teams like to glob onto to success of the top teams.
Sorry, we know how the game works. Most likely your kids team won't make finals and won't be invited to events outside of showcases. At the showcases you'll pay ridiculous money to play in. Recruiters won't want to sherpa hike to the fields they put the lower level teams on. Oh and BTW we also know the your kids team won't be playing the really good girls ECNL teams at events because they don't want blow outs. |
