That would be an interesting BOOM! Strong National Contender out the gate..must stronger than any of our local ECNL teams

its true, but it is going to be a mess. FA is trying to do whatever they can to keep the team together and MFA is trying to do whatever they can to keep their club in the headlines.

Amazing what teams can achieve when they dont league chase...... That club is prime example

It's not all great though. That club makes heavy use of player pools and guest players. Sure if you're at the top and make it out of the meat grinder, it's great but kids are swapped out on a whim at very young ages. They also love gaming the rankings by replacing lower level teams with ringers. It's really not all that different than that Baller's "team" other than they are a real club and play league games.

Why all the hate on the Ballers team?

What's the point of putting together a national level team of overly privately trained 2015s to come in and destroy teams. It sucks for everyone except for those posting meaningless highlights. I assume Jeff Cup doesn't let teams play up, but they knew it would be a complete beat down.

I know the Vega's - GREAT coaches, one is in CA was AZ and the other is in NJ. Ballers was a futsal training/club a while back but the lack of people even knowing what futsal is killed that. I believe the younger Vega had combined with D'Ambra for the new futsal club in pitman. I see that the added Amirah Ali (drafted 22nd overall 2021 NWSL draft) as well, she is from South Jersey and played for the Winslow Tigers who was coached by Coach Rich King, nice guy if you ever meet him. That town team had some major players on it including Tziarra King (drafted 8th overall 2020 NWSL) and Jaylyn Thompson (played pro a few years in Europe) and stressed futsal and playing against the toughest competition they could find even if it was boys.

Shouldn't hate on a non-club putting together a team full of players they train. If they kick the snot out you then obviously your club/training is lacking.

Yes you should hate on them for ****ing up a tournament for no reason. Did the kids who played 18-0/14-0 games get a benefit from beating down on them? They're not better players today because of that, should have played more futsal or trained and posted the highlights on IG

Well, on the other hand those that got their tush handed to them now know just were they are on the peaking order and what they need to do to do better. Honestly though if Jeff Cup wouldn't allow them to play up that's on them. They played in the top bracket, those were suppossed to be the "best" teams. Guess they weren't.

Super teams happen all the time. I'm west coast but the same thing happens at Surf Cup with the youngers.

The players on these type of teams are usually early developers and are under extreme pressure to win from their parents, coaches, and trainers.

These type of teams are advertising for private coaching / training groups. Unfortunately after 18-0 games parents will hunt them down begging them to take their money to make their kid a superstar.

Some of the kids truly are unicorn level talent on these teams. When they get older 50/50 on who continues to play and who quits.

If that were to happen it wouldve already happened. Remember what stopped the train before was COVID.....that is no longer the case.....i bet your one of those parents who like to say there kid is on an ECNL team but dont tell them your kid doesnt get any playing time. So when they say whens your next game so they can come support, you have some lame excuse so they cant come and watch....oh my kid hurt ankle...oh my kid has special school project and wont be attending etc..... i've seen it all.. most DMV folks just want to say the kid plays club knowing that 99% of the world does not know what that even is so you can brag to your friends at the office and keep your so called status. I see this all the time and funny how tones change when you realize that your FOS... GA ECNL whatever.....end of the day...who is playing the best competition??? for the respective area

One of the most annoying characteristics of girls ECNL parents is how the ones with kids playing on sucky ECNL teams like to glob onto to success of the top teams.

Sorry, we know how the game works. Most likely your kids team won't make finals and won't be invited to events outside of showcases. At the showcases you'll pay ridiculous money to play in. Recruiters won't want to sherpa hike to the fields they put the lower level teams on. Oh and BTW we also know the your kids team won't be playing the really good girls ECNL teams at events because they don't want blow outs.
