I’m not a huge Veronica beard fan but I at least respect the blazer for what it is. I think straight or slightly wide leg black pants would look better. Or Kelly screen wide legs pants with the navy blazer and then maybe just a navy cami underneath would be okay. (The Kelly geeen is traditionally Lori the March meeting with the Irish PD.). Something like a pleated silk midi skirt on navy or Kelly would also maybe work with that blazer.

I don't know that the black and navy combo is really working here but the turquoise crop pants are just crazy with this outfit, and this occasion.

Very cute. She looks great in those slim cut pants and I love her jacket.

Her hair and makeup look greasy but I really hate that outfit. It fits her which is a nice change but navy black and teal is a lot gojng on and it just isn’t harmonized. The top is too heavy for the bottom. And that’s a lot of jewelry with those big buttons — might work if the look was more monochromatic but this is all busy lookkkg and like she’s wearing 2-3 different outfits. Also think it’s a little weird how much she clashes with her husband who is wearing the green tie in a nod to the Irish visit. I wonder if she asked for green pants and got the turquoise by mistake? It’s all a little odd.

The Irish TD’s wife’s dress is nice. You can buy it online for 190EU. I’m not sure how old she is — I think at least 65, right?

🤣 That answers that question. Never in the history of having something in my closet for years would I then think to take it for a spin on the world stage. Choosing the heavy black turtleneck under the navy blazer makes zero sense. I have a very similar navy blazer from Smythe and it’s a workhorse but it doesn’t work with black ffs.
