There is too a God. Next thing you're going to be spouting heliocentric models of the solar system. Heretic.

EXACTLY.

You can feel blessed because you were born in a Democratic country, to loving parents who had enough resources to raise their children.

Blessings are not always earned, they are often given to babies when no one knows what kind of lives they will lead. So, I think you are mixed up about what people mean when they say they are blessed. You also seem to have a HUGE chip on your shoulder.

Yes. Many of us are privileged to live in this country. If you have good health, among many other blessings then you certainly have a leg up. And it goes for any race or culture fyi.

OP you need to stop being jealous.

We're all privileged to live in this time and place. Science, medicine, and public health infrastructure have given us longer, better lives. Technology and industry have given us easier lives with more leisure compared to say, 150 years ago.

We do have more leisure than 150 years ago, but I recently read a book indicating we have significantly less leisure than say 2000 years ago. I’ve also read some things that posit overall happiness and stability could be decreasing when you take the long view of human history. Technology and industry brought with them a lot of substantial downsides as well. It is interesting to think about…I mean humanity is evolving for the better…until it is devolving.

I recommend the book “Sapiens.” Fascinating read
