Both Bethesda and VDA 2006s placed 3rd in their groups. Both struggled a lot and ended up where they should based on their play.

Are these games still going on? If so the ecnl he's in as longer than the EPL season... Do kids really need to be playing this many games?

No one has ever claimed Loudoun (Girls) is a top notch ECNL club. They are 3rd tier out of 4. That is not in top 50% but not in bottom 20% either. And yes my kid plays for Loudoun. So I am being pretty fair in this observation. They won’t win any championships. Similar to VDA and Maryland United. Middle tier to 3rd tier. Some ages are better some are worse. This is all fine.

I’d take this over FCV. Rather be on a mid tier ECNL team than a top GA team any day. Losing is part of the development process. If all that was important was beating lower competition, you could do the FCV model but in a league with less travel (EDP, CCL) and cost and get the same result vs similar competition.
