I didn't find it boring, but I found it unpleasant. I gave up.halfway through the sixth episode of the first season. All but one of the characters were unlikeable and behaved in a stereotypical way.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus deserved every single award she got for Veep. People were complaining that she was winning best actress in a comedy for so many years in a row at the time. She won every year because she was light-years ahead of everyone else in that category.
