We have learned alot about man from animal research. But, I'm positive you know nothing about zoology or anthropology.

And with your Ivy aspirations, I'm surprised that you have problems with spelling and embrace the use of the sexist term, man, when mentioning humankind.

Furthermore, why you feel the need to bring up zoology or anthropology is perplexing, as neither have anything to do with the OP's topic - unless, of course, you're planning on grooming your child for either of these two fields.

Simply put - could you be an idiot? Or perhaps you were hit in the head one too many times today as you shoveled your 20+ inches of snow blanketing your driveway.

My theory: the poster you're responding to is an actress with an upcoming roll where she plays a six year old. So she's practicing for it here. The role calls for her to use lots of big words she's not familiar because she sacrificed a good liberal arts education for an acting-only school (or maybe her character is not familiar with these words), so she's trying these words out here to get used to them. The sock puppeting she does is just her way of trying out multiple possible responses, to see which response works best. But all in the tone of a six year old, of course, to stay in character.

See, with this interpretation she actually seems mature and focused. As opposed to what she seems like on the surface!

Why are none of you able to post without spelling errors? On an Ivy League-titled thread, for God's sake, check your post before you submit!

Note to poster: using "big" words doesn't make you look educated. In fact, just the opposite - it's a pretty clear sign that you're insecure about your education.

Also, in this case, "alot" should actually be two words. http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/alot.html. Or another site: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/761667.html.

Sorry, just not a lot of time to read over. Got it right in the second sentence though. The point, however, is to drive that annoying, inane, immature sock puppet away.

Are you referring to 9:00, 9:08, 9:10?

Sigh, it didn't work, the baby is still here. She did the last two posts (11:34 and 11:44).

Oh please, we know you're the same person.

Yes.

Someone here said she has hallucinations and is a schizophrenic. I see what they meant.

It was you, and you're a moron if you don't think we can't see you sock-puppeting yourself.

You're totally boring and immature. Only a child thinks name-calling is an actual debating technique. Nanny-nanny-boo-boo to you, too.

Since you have to have the last word, I'll give it to you. Post away! You're so childish I can't be bothered to keeping checking this thread for anything interesting.

Jeff, if you're out there -- can you please remove this person? She's disrupted several threads so far with some of the most childish insults we've seen. And she clearly didn't read your notice at the top of the private school forum about sock puppetting.

Over 4000 people have clicked on to view this thread. For those who pretend they're not interested in the Ivies -- why are so many people clicking on? And, please, don't act like you're not interested by saying how much you want your kid to be happy. We know that - we all do.

It's sort of like watching a car wreck; you can't turn away from the horror!
