What if George Zimmerman DID act in self defense?

2 voice print experts say the cries are not Zimmerman's:

This just gets worse and worse.

Yeah, I try to keep an open mind about these things but it certainly looks now like Zimmerman is a lyin' sack of sh#t.

Zimmerman has gone rogue. His attorneys have resigned from representing him. They don't know where he is. Zimmerman talked to Sean Hannity without his former attorney's knowledge. And, Zimmerman called the prosecutors to talk about his case. When the prosecutor said he called not talk to him without his attorney, Zimmerman said "don't have a lawyer, only legal advisors".

Finally, unbeknown to his former attorneys, Zimmerman established a website for people to donate money for his legal fees. The attorneys said they could not account for the money.

Interesting developments.

Not really going to trust NBC as a source of news on this subject anymore.

Great dodge. The Orlando Sentinel was the paper who contacted the two sources, and here is what they reported: http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2012-03-31/news/os-trayvon-martin-george-zimmerman-911-20120331_1_voice-identification-expert-reasonable-scientific-certainty

Now what is your issue?

The stand-your-ground law is central to understanding what happened. Trayvon Martin was walking through thw neighborhood when he was followed and then approached by a man with a gun. You know what he did? He stood his ground. That's what freaked out Zimmerman and mad him shoot. The situation sucks, but what really sucks is the NRA going around the country pushing stand-your-ground and concealed weapons laws. The NRA is to blame for the whole mess.

WRONG. Zimmerman alone is to blame. The NRA doesn't promote the shooting of unarmed, unprovoking teenagers.

If zimmerman didn't attack then its not standing your ground. If zimmerman was the person being over powered by an attacker stand your ground can be used against the attacker

This will be laughed out of court

The software compared that audio to Zimmerman's voice. It returned a 48 percent match. Owen said to reach a positive match with audio of this quality, he'd expect higher than 90 percent.

WRONG yourself. The NRA is promoting laws that encourage people to carry guns and shoot whenever they "feel" threatened. It doesn't matter if the victim is a teen, unarmed or was not actually provoking.

How would you feel if followed in the dark and approached by an angry man with a gun - you wouldn't feel threatened?

The law says otherwise.

Here's what the law says: "a person is justified in the use of deadly force and does not have a duty to retreat if: (1) He or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself . . . " So I ask again, How would you feel if followed in the dark and approached by an angry man with a gun - you wouldn't feel threatened? What will a jury say? Because if the jury decides that Martin was justified in standing his ground, and it could also decide that Zimmerman was justified in standing his ground, then you have a situation where someone gets killed and no one is to blame. What a f'ing stupid law. Thanks so much, NRA.

Zimmerman is still to blame.
