With all your new money you can’t walk into a Rolex authorized dealer out of the blue and buy a:

Stainless steel Rolex Submariner
Stainless steel Rolex Submariner Date
Stainless Steel Rolex GMT-Master II Batman
Stainless Steel Rolex GMT-Master II Batgirl
Stainless Steel Rolex GMT-Master II Bruce Wayne
Stainless Steel Rolex GMT-Master II Sprite
Stainless Steel Datejust 41mm Fluted Bezel Wimbledon
Stainless Steel Datejust 41mm Fluted Bezel Blue Dial
Stainless Steel Datejust 41mm Fluted Bezel Mint Green Dial
Etc., etc., etc.

Wait. Hold the phone. Did you actually type that all out?? Please tell me it's a copy and paste. But even then... I am intrigued by the level of commitment

It was from memory and I type very quickly.

There isn’t a “nine figure” initiation and dues country club in the world. There’s only one club in the U.S. with a $1,000,000 fee.

President Obama, President Biden, Warren Buffet, Larry Ellison, Jim Walton, David Beckham, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, etc., etc., etc., would beg to differ.

A Rolex is an affordable luxury watch, though in this economy a $10,000+ watch isn’t that affordable anymore. They’re also an aspirational watch for the middle class.

Over the last 100+ years Rolex has refined their watches employing subtle changes that don’t disrupt the model’s aesthetic. It’s why their watches are so iconic. They don’t chase trends. They offer accurate, capable, reliable, recognizable watches that communicate the wearer has enjoyed a measure of success. There’s a reason they sell the most watches in the world by a long shot.

you again? Is this AI??
You really commit to your lists!

etc., etc., etc.

I don’t use AI. I know a lot about watches.

Meh, I like my submariner... always wanted one, so I got one. I also like Omega, but that's because of Bond - have one too. I wear what I like, just like I drive what I like.

You are a fool. According to DCUM rules, you need to drive and wear the cheapest things you can find to prove that you have money.

agree, rolex are kind of tacky, they are very shiny. and they aren't for accuracy- quartz watches all keep better time- its a hobby. I dont think they signal any sort of refinement though, vintage patek or any other watch you get from your grandparents from before the 1940s is an actual flex.

Well, if money is no object, I’d purchase a watch by Roger W Smith. Don’t know him? Look up George Daniels. As that’s unlikely, I just wear my father’s watch.

I never said Rolex is the be-all and end-all. I’ve been reacting to those posters trying to diminish their overall history, quality and success.

I like my IWC, JLC, Omega, Nomos, and Zenith, but I love the fully tegimented Sinn on my wrist that is water resistant to 5000M. I don’t even own a Rolex currently, but I have, and I will again.

But money is an object for 99% of people. Rolex is likely the highest level of luxury watches they can strive for. It’s why it’s perhaps the most recognized luxury brand in the world.

But definitely send Bryce and Zoe to Sidwell.
