+1. We're actually out of town this week to a New England city and for all the talk about snow removal infrastructure places like this, the sidewalks are rough in a lot of places. There are people here who would definitely want to close or delay for what the sidewalks look like now, but people here just deal with it. It's possible. |
Exactly. I'm from upstate NY and can't tell you how many times I slipped and landed on my butt walking back and forth to the bus stops in winter. Before someone shouts "but but they have SIDEWALK PLOWS" those plows are great at removing the top inches and then leaving a layer that becomes like a skating rink until it eventually melts away. |
