If it is the mother I am familiar with, the mother gossips about other girls to the girls and also bad mouths other moms to the GIRLS. Stares down parents she does not like at the other school her other child attends. Some sort of mental disorder possibly? I am not sure but stories I have heard do not sound nice.

There are so many questions on here that I would think would be answered by the school directly? Isn't there a new student packet or something? New parent asking questions just know that most schools sign off for a month or so after school ends. You may not receive info for a bit. Do you really need to know about a syllabus now?

There is a new student page but my question isn't answered there. My daughter was wondering because she wants to know what to study.

Does she not have a summer packet? That’s what she needs to study. If the isn’t comprehensive enough, I believe all the teachers emails are listed on the various student packets. Sounds like your daughter needs summer school courses to stay busy with. StoneRidge has a summer school

I think they are in Rising 10th grade so you should be in the clear....

Teachers send out a link to join their class closer to the start of school. Some include a syllabus at that time, some give the syllabus on the first day of class. If you “need” something beyond the summer packets and reading assignments, contact the school. But maybe take a deep breath first.

Yes, whoever keeps asking questions here should really reach out to the school. There is staff there over the summer answering the phone. As for the syllabus, that isn't available until the class actually starts. You can ask more questions at back to school night. Focus on your student's summer assignments, which should be posted on the website by now.
