Agree with all of this. He's very self-centered, parenthood won't magically change him. His money might ease things, but guarantee the bulk of parenting will fall on her. Together with lots of other things, it will get very old.

I agree they won't last but I don't actually think he's that wealthy. Child support payments over 18 years might supplement her acting income nicely (presuming her career continues to go well, but she's rather plain and really nothing special as an actress) but won't exactly permit a life of luxury. Guarantee she signed an ungenerous prenup.

She's ambitious. I think she wanted his celebrity and connections as much as wealth. She would have been just as well off financially if she had married the investment banker fiancé she was with when she met Theroux.
