Kate Middleton in Hospital - Recovering from Surgery

Hernia surgery is usually out patient and has a quicker recovery time than hysterectomy.

What?! Of course non-Jews get Crohns. I know two non-Jewish women who have it.

Re-read what you are responding to. Less common =/= nonexistent. White people can also get sickle cell but that’s not the same as being super common amongst that population.

I'm calling hernia! I know several athletic men/women that have had to have surgery for this. My 50 year old neighbor just had it. It is scheduled.

Good guess.

You’re not going to be in the hospital for two weeks for a hernia and she likely would have said that in the statement.

My husband had complicated hernia surgery and he was discharged the same day. Needing 24/7 monitoring in a hospital for 10 days is not hernia related.

My post clearly says I don't think HRH has had a hysterectomy at TLC.

Your post did not talk about it not being a specialty, it said, IN CAPS, The London Clinic does NOT do hysterectomies, nor have 'gynaecology'.

I simply hoped to clarify that despite your seemingly factual and CAPITALIZED words, this was inaccurate.

Good guess.

hernia repair is often outpatient

I know 3 adult non Jewish women with Chron's, and a 12 year old non- Jewish girl. I don't know what OP considers super common.

The woman already weighed 90 pounds---wth would she have had weight loss surgery?

Why would Lisa Marie Presley?

Unstable upbringing leading to poor self-esteem.

The USA, due to its peculiar and inhumane medical costs, sends people home to deal with their problems by themselves WAY earlier than European or Asian first world countries.

So a one week stay in an American hospital for something serious can very well be a two week stay in a European or Japanese hospital.

No, there is absolutely no reason for her to stay in a hospital longer than medically necessary, regardless of where she lives. She has unlimited resources and private medical staff at home. When she gave birth, she went home very quickly.

My guesses:

1. Ruptured appendix. It's terrible when they rupture and both people I know who have had this happen had extensive hospital stays with lots of IV antibiotics.

2. Hysterectomy with a complication.

What are the reasons for abdominal surgery?

Abdominal surgery treats conditions that affect your abdomen, including the stomach, small intestines, spleen, appendix and the colon (or rectum). Surgery may be needed for a variety of reasons, like infection, tumors, hernia repair, gallstones, abdominal aortic aneurysm or even bowel disease. Rectal prolapse (definitely she wouldn't want that going around).

Abdominal surgery is any surgical procedure that requires the opening of the abdominal cavity. It covers a broad range of issues that can affect abdominal organs and tissues, including the:

Bile ducts
Gallbladder
Liver
Lower digestive tract (stomach and bowels)
Pancreas
Surrounding soft tissues
These surgeries can be performed in an inpatient or outpatient environment depending on the severity of the condition.

I went home next day from hernia surgery.

I don't think it's a ruptured appendix.

The palace said this was a 'planned surgery'. Ruptured appendix is unplanned/emergency.
