Yale Admissions

The Yale College class of 2027 is 14% African American.
The 6.9% black is for the university as a whole, not for the undergraduate population.

Legacies get a preference. Being Jewish does NOT give you any advantage. If anything, it hurts an applicant.

Of corse it does. Jews are 2% of the population but make up 10-14% of each class. You think every of group in the admissions process is carefully thought out and balanced by some matrix..but not Jews? The admissions numbers are very high based on percentage of population and it is consistent overtime.

Actually, Yale only has 6.9% black students. Dcum makes it sound like 30% of the class is black. SMH.

It's called white and Asian ( mostly male) grievance. They think all of the T10 spots belong to them.

Anonymous forums bring out this bunch, even the ones that are supposedly "educated."
