VA Public Schools other than FCPS
What study on kids shows that? |
Yea wearing something covering your nose and mouth and hiding half your face is totally the same thing. |
fine then take the option and go to another class if it bothers you so much. school hasn't started yet so what difference does it make what class your kid is in. |
like all of them |
then they will tell her they will put her kid in another class just like they already offered. no one is forcing OP's kid to mask, there is another option. |
OMG. The antimasker Covid deniers are rich. First they say the vulnerable kid should stay virtual but then when one does, they mock that too as "fear". You ppl will never be satisfied. |
who are you to say it doesn't help? do you know this child's situation and their doctor's recommendations? of course you don't. |
I also have a lot of experience in this area, and I can assure you that schools do not just hand out peer masking accommodations for no reason. |
+1. Do people still not know this?? |
| ya'll know before covid ppl masked around people in cancer treatment, right? FFS. |
You simply don't get it. It's not just covid, but colds and flu. Not all of us are as blessed as you. I'd be thrilled for a classroom like this. |
Actually there is but you just choose to pretend it doesn't exist. |
I’ve read all the research. They are doing this to make the child and family feel better, not for any clear risk reduction. |
they do if faced with a litigious family. the point is, the risk reduction of peer masking is minimal to zero. it doesn’t matter what the child’s situation is. it is not going to appreciably reduce the risk in any way that justifies the burden on the school & other kids. |
peer masking was never imposed prior to covid. |
