The same way Maryland scored only 7 goals despite winning 18 of 22 face offs against Loyola.

Just chill. So early in the season. A few games means nothing. All these teams will look different in late April and May. Some will get healthy, some will lose some to injury. No one knows yet who the best in the DMV is.

With that said I agree that until one of these local teams knocks off St John’s they are still the best in the area. One top team stepped up and lost already. Let see how the rest do.

Neutral Observer here who happened to attend today's game.

I tend to agree with this statement. Purple Eagles defense, poles and SSDMs are legit. 80% of Gonzaga's goals came off broken clears, fast breaks, and generally un-settled situations. Gonzaga's settled 6v6 offense was pretty ordinary if you ask me. Not a ton of movement.

Landon's offense is anemic, I can't tell what they are trying to run offensively.

I believe the game was 7-3 heading into the 4th quarter; wheels fell off the Bears wagon early in the 4th and the game was practically over mid-way through the 4th.

Anemic is being generous. They may not hit double digit goals this season and were totally outmatched athletically by Eye St.

The 10 men ride by Gonzaga was very effective, Landon couldn't clear the ball. Gonzaga's athleticism between the lines was on full display.

Still number 1 in the DMV until a local team beats them. Will see if that happens this year. Better hope they don’t finally start hitting the cage. Was told they are 90 percent or better on FO wins.

Disagree here. Bullis can score goals at will this Spring, they will challenge and I think beat SJC come April. Prep is very senior-heavy this Spring, I rwish they were playing but understand school politics, unfortunately, got in the way.

We will see if they score at will. I doubt it. They will need the ball to score. St. John’s will dominate possession at the X.

Only scored 11 against DeMatha. Easy to say that St. John’s has a better goalie and defense. Add the FO dominance and Bullis has a problem.

Will agree SJC is the favorite here but no way "it's easy to say" they have a better goalie than Bullis, the Bullis goalie IMO is just as good as Fyock.

Better goalie than DeMatha. Bullis scored 11 on DeMatha. Won’t score that much on St. John’s.

I'd switch STA and Gonzaga for the 4 and 5 spots.

While DeMatha is 0-3 to start the season, they have played a brutal non-league schedule. I'd put them ahead of Landon.

All clueless. Wait till Maxlax rankings come out next week!

Maxlas will definitely have Landon ahead of PVI
