Didn't really have expectations. I knew Dre and Snoop were performing but somehow I'd managed to not know who else was going to be there.

I rewatched it again today. Freaking loved every minute of it. When they started California Love, I lost it. Such a great show for us GenXers. It's been a while since something got me out of my seat to dance.

But Real Love was the bigger hit. And more fun. The beat definitely would have been better for a dance performance.

+1 , Real Love was her first hit song, but Family Affair was the bigger hit and it was the song that really put her on the map. She has said that Family Affair is when she realized she made it to the next level of success. Dre produced that song and also has writing credits on the song.

To see all those L-E-G-E-N-D-S all on stage - singing their classics (except Kendrick of course) was phenomenal. 💫⚡️✨

Most of these artists are pushing fifty (No pun intended fiddy!!) or have surpassed it.
They will all go down in hip hop history as the true pioneers of this particular genre no doubt about it.

This show was much better than I could have ever imagined possible!! 👏🏽
