That’s quite the self-made governance crisis for his first weeks in office. Total rookie error because Youngkin has no experience in government and doesn’t understand how it works.

Henrico too.

Good for them. Glad to leadership with backbone.

Is he going to send in armed police to enforce his EO? How much backbone does he have?

He’s gonna need a lot of backbone.

The suburbs of NoVa, Richmond, Norfolk & cities of Roanoke, & Hopewell. No big surprise. Every one votes dem except Chesterfield which is purple & very narrowly decided on masking.

So is Youngkin abandoning EO2? No response to all the school systems that said they won’t follow it after his initial vague threat to Arlington, and the Superintendent of Public Instruction apparently has not yet rescinded the former guidance and issued new guidance as instructed by the EO, even though it’s supposed to go into effect on Monday.

He got his press. If he is smart he will move on to the next “owning the libs” things. It is extremely risky to piss the parents off. In the world of Fox new it does not matter what you accomplish you just have to go out of your way to stick it to the libs.

The EO says the decision to mask or not is up to a child's parents. So come Monday, some anti-maskers are going to send their kids to school without masks and then there will be confrontations and chaos. And Youngkin will get his face on Fox News again. Success!

And now that school will need to have a police presence on Monday. I’m sure that will be great.

Youngkin’s win has emboldened the crazy violent contingent just like Trump’s did. In addition to this type of thing I’ve been hearing about some other stuff outside of NoVA like open calls for violence against Democrats (threatening things written on car windshields for example). Thanks Youngkin voters you’ve made VA a crappy place to live by letting these POS’s feel like they can come out of the woodwork. MD is too blue for me but I’d rather have let the drugs of the state feel like they needed to stay in hiding. Now they’re just out here openly calling for violence and think their governor is on their side.

Why does he confuse the word “parents” with the concept “people who agree with me”?

Not in Northern VA. Youngkin solidly lost NOVA.

Youngkin didn’t even get 25 percent of the vote in my city.
