So glad I live in Maryland. At least our Republican governor doesn’t waste bs playing to a crazy Trumpist base. What did you expect voting this guy? I’ll concede that Macauliffe was an awful candidate but he was Hillary Clinton awful, not Trump awful.

It's actually the school teachers and staff who will suffer from this.

This webpage isn't comprehensive, but it does list 94 school personnel from Florida and 55 from Georgia (two states that prohibit mask mandates for schools) who've died from Covid in 2021, compared to only 7 from Virginia.
