| What is your favorite sandwich? I love them in the summer, but my favorite seems to change every year. Last year it was a BLT. This summer, I'm having a toasted English muffin with vegetable cream cheese and sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers for lunch nearly everyday. Currently, it is my best sandwich ever. |
| Two hot guys and me in the middle. |
|
Roasted red pepper, goat cheese, basil, red onion, capers and balsamic vinegar on rosemary focaccia.
OR Cucumber, tomato, lettuce with garlic dill mayo on a bagel. Yum I make both at home. |
| tuna fish on soft white bread (like P. Farm Oatmeal bread) |
|
Rye bread or toasted whole grain bread with fresh sliced avocado, fresh sliced tomato, and roasted turkey. YUM!
I am OBSESSED with eating avocado right now! |
| Fresh farm tomatoes, salt, pepper, mayo on white bread. |
| Goat cheese, prosciutto, and fig jam on crusty bread. |
| Avodado, provolone cheese on french bread with olive oil, salt and pepper. |
+1. Or a BLT will do. Although I think I'll try out a PP's fave of "Roasted red pepper, goat cheese, basil, red onion, capers and balsamic vinegar on rosemary focaccia." Sounds good. |

Oh, there are so many.
Chicken Madness at Wisemiller's in Georgetown Capri (on a hard roll) at The Italian Store Delight at Parkway Deli Art Museum ay Taylor Gourmet Chivito at Fast Gourmet (Note: You apparent vegetarians will not like any of these.) |
The devil's threesome! |
| When I was a kid my mom would stuff a wheat pita with herbed spreadable cheese (Alouette, Boursin), and pack it with havarti dill cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and some wishbone italian dressing and salt and pepper. Sounds nuts. IT IS F*CKING FANTASTIC. |

I must confess, my favorite sandwich as a child was two slices of Wonder Bread spread with Miracle Whip, with one slice or two of bologna (Oscar Mayer) in between. I love the way the entire thing stuck to the roof of my mouth.
I remember loving the taste. I'd probably hate it now, though, so I'm not going to try it again, and spoil the childhood memory. |
