Best Sandwich Ever

Anonymous
What is your favorite sandwich? I love them in the summer, but my favorite seems to change every year. Last year it was a BLT. This summer, I'm having a toasted English muffin with vegetable cream cheese and sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers for lunch nearly everyday. Currently, it is my best sandwich ever.

OR

Cucumber, tomato, lettuce with garlic dill mayo on a bagel. Yum

I make both at home.

+1. Or a BLT will do.

Although I think I'll try out a PP's fave of "Roasted red pepper, goat cheese, basil, red onion, capers and balsamic vinegar on rosemary focaccia." Sounds good.

When I was a kid my mom would stuff a wheat pita with herbed spreadable cheese (Alouette, Boursin), and pack it with havarti dill cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and some wishbone italian dressing and salt and pepper. Sounds nuts. IT IS F*CKING FANTASTIC.

I must confess, my favorite sandwich as a child was two slices of Wonder Bread spread with Miracle Whip, with one slice or two of bologna (Oscar Mayer) in between. I love the way the entire thing stuck to the roof of my mouth.

I remember loving the taste. I'd probably hate it now, though, so I'm not going to try it again, and spoil the childhood memory.

Egg salad with lettuce and tomato on wheat, especially from Breadline.
