It gets really annoying when people speak in favor of illegal immigrants. Just because they have yet to appear in your town does not delegitimize the feelings of AMERICANS who have to put up with increased crime, increased taxes, shame of running away from their homes bc of 15 illegals living in one house on their street etc etc

Certainly. But moms who choose to be home because *that's what they want to do* aren't in any way martyrs. They'd rather be doing that than WOH. So good for them for following their bliss.

As long as they admit it, that's fine. MANY SAHMs do it mostly for themselves. And again, that's fine. But don't pretend it's to make a husband's life easier or enrich a child's.

You know, those things aren't mutually exclusive. I SAH because I want to and I enjoy it. But it is also true that my husband's life is easier and my child's life is enriched. And I'm happy about that. It's all good.

And most people aren't disagreeing with you on the reasons you SAH. However, my minority opinion of you is that you are lacking in some way. Either you are lazy, unintelligent, unmotivated, disorganized, a procrastinator, undisciplined, a stress case etc. All of the SAHMs I know, besides those with DC with very high level special needs or serious medical illnesses, have any combination of these traits.

If there is actually a debate wether men who want to be women should be allowed in spaces exclusively for women (the proper kind), then it's time to wind the whole thing back imo
