If there’s one thing about Catherine she will come up smelling like roses.

Plenty of Americans send their kids to boarding schools.

I don't know anyone who went to boarding school.

It's common among the Old Money set in DC, NYC, Philadelphia, and Boston. Lots of excellent boarding adjacent to the Acela Corridor.

Yeah. Half the kids I went to college with came from boarding schools! My dad wanted to send me to his HS (Holderness) but mom wouldn’t go for it.

You did all end up at the same college.

Kate did not edit that photo or make the statement. Get real.

Of course not. But I think that could be why they’re keeping her out if the public eye.

I do. I guess it depends on what your circle is and your socio-economic status. Is this really that hard to figure out? You are a regular Joe, others aren't.

NP. You’re really making the case for how great boarding school is, with your classist, rude, unnecessarily unkind remarks. You are actually being proof that, while of course American boarding schools exist, they clearly produce some awful people. (Or they inspire “strivers” who try to act rude and superior to fit in with the boarding school “circles.”)

Saying it doesn't exist just because you don't know people is incredibly stupid. Are you denying that there are no such school in the US? Come on.

I am the poster you are now responding to. I both identified myself as an NP (that stands for “New Poster”), and I also said “of course American boarding schools exist.” Are you still confused, or did I clear that up for you? Feel free to argue with me about the points I did make. I’ll reiterate the point I made to you: you were unnecessarily rude to someone else, and it’s very telling that you’re not quite as superior that you think you are when you can’t discuss a topic without being rude to someone for absolutely no reason.

If this is all about custody that seems ridiculous- the kids are accustomed to parents traveling and being raised by nannies already. Not much will change. And Kate could even become more famous and wealthy after divorce so money cannot be the issue. I don’t understand what she needs a bargaining chip or leverage for ?

Bc she won’t have full custody of the kids. They will be shelled to boarding school and she’ll see them 6x a year.
Maybe 1 week in august.

They will likely go to boarding school even if no divorce. Perhaps return home on weekends, they have been looking at schools nearby.

I think that this whole thing is about boarding school. They finally came to an agreement in November last year. Kate is out of commission less than two months later. Those boarding schools messed up Will and Harry. She is a very good mother who loves her kids and I think that her kids well being is basically the only thing she would go against the firm for and she is clearly making a statement against the firm right now.

Didn’t Kate attend boarding school too? I thought the debate was more whether the kids would attend a coed boarding school like she did (vs. Eton which is all boys).

As to whether it was boarding school messed William and Harry up vs. Everything Else, I don’t think any of us really know that. From their statements I always got the impression that William liked it more than harry did.

Kate went to boarding school. She wants them both to attend her boarding school, which is co-ed. William and Charles finally agreed, so that was hammered out in November.

Where did Charles and William want them to attend?

While many think this is a joke by going along with it and contributing to it all it’s doing is diminishing another woman’s autonomy for your entertainment. Congrats?

she signed up for this. She is entertainment. Only entertainers get to live her privileged life and they do it for us, the audience. So yes, until she declares that she's out of the BRF, she's our entertainment.

Utterly psychopathic.

The top Ivys have many students from the best boarding schools. If you didn't attend a Brown or Yale plus level Ivy then you won't understand.

Wouldn't the simplest explanation be a fave lift? Waiting for the swelling to subside?

Can we get back to the issue at hand? Where are the investigative journalists on this - I know UK media is heavily constrained, but US media have outlets in London and could certainly get to the bottom of this.

Can't they reach out to the top UK doctors/surgeons?

What makes you think you know how to raise kids properly? Or are you saying you had kids purely for the selfish reason of having them keep you company?

This is def true and they’ve been gagged so can’t publish until news breaks in other mediums

Why?

Sometimes the parents are the rich world-traveler type and don’t want to parent 24/7. Others do it because it’s family tradition or they genuinely believe the school provides a good education and higher chance of getting into a good college.
