Ukrainian victory over Russia is inevitable

I know Fox News and most probably authoritarian leaning right wing folks and neighbors you have at your evangelical church, who are predisposed to authoritarian strongmen anyway, got their hooks into you, and told you Russia isn’t that bad, and they all speak Russian anyway (or whatever low information stuff they believe about this war),but all our European allies are helping Ukraine, NATO has never been stronger, Germany and other countries are stepping up their own defenses, and we are spending a small part of our defensive budget to help Ukraine. Ukraine is doing incredible well on this. So your helpful hints for the US to just turn our backs on Ukraine now really don’t make sense.

Okay, how about simply we don’t want Russia to subsume another country, nor do our European allies, especially like Finland, Estonia etc who themselves worry about an emboldened RussiaWilly nilly going on an annexation spree trying to regain a lot of territory like it had when it was the USSR? The Russians have had a year to mine every approach to their positions. Unless there's a collapse in Moscow, it's going to be a terrible slog to get the Russians out.

Well that, and another thing is that America never attacks countries that can put up a fight. They tend to invade the weaker ones. Although poor hardscrabble Afghanistan never budged. It’s just a very different calculus when you don’t mind dying and your game is a long one.

There's a whole army of people identifying and cataloging visually confirmed losses from each side, and it shows that yes, Russia's tanks and vehicles have been taking a clobbering and by the count, yes, it's asymmetrical.

We are basically watching Russia bleed itself and we aren’t doing all that much beyond sending some weaponry and coordinating with our European allies. All of which underscores our image on the world stage as a country that ultimately does the right thing.

Spend less time being a wet blanket and stand up for democracy and Western ideal. I know Tucker Carlson is very suave in his bow tie, but maybe just be your own thinker on this. Smart people know what’s best.

You're a complete clown if you think Russia is any way more respectful of democracy than the US is.

It isn’t but it doesn’t pretend to, unlike America. It’s the hypocrisy that amuses. Democracy and human rights are commodities that are made only for the American domestic market.

When the US gets to be as bad as Russia, maybe then your lame complaints about hypocrisy might carry some weight. Until then you're just making a fool of yourself.
