I have not been able to find a Spanish news article that is covering this currently.

Regarding those who were wondering if she actually speak Spanish – so far I have only found this video. To me it sounds like she has a super strong Spanish from Spain accent that almost sounds fake.

She is also not saying anything particularly challenging or difficult here. It’s basic and she keeps pausing. Are there any videos of her speaking with more advanced vocabulary or even in past tense?

They probably went there on an TUI package deal with all the German tourists. Could have just as easily ended up in Canary Islands. Sad. If I was pretending to be Spanish I’d definitely be from Madrid. Really nice museums and better food!

There’s a video on Twitter (sorry can’t find it now) where she and Alec are being interviewee on a red carpet by Spanish media. She says hello in Spanish and continues walking but Alec stops to talk and Hillary continues in English. Alec starts saying no no in Spanish and she’s trying to speak English and clearly uncomfortable. So the interview continues with Alec trying out his Spanish (accent is really good!) and Hillary speaking in English replying to questions. Clearly she did not want to be interviewed and have to speak on the spot in Spanish! I’ll try to find the Twitter link...
