A Maryland woman and 2 illegal aliens were convicted in the brutal MS-13 murder of teen found buried in the woods.

Iris Alonzo-Salgado, 24, was found guilty of murdering an 18-year-old Gaithersburg woman in 2023.

Roberto Carlos Rivera-Delgado, 25, and Aracely Esperanza Abarca-Melgar, 23, are both illegal aliens from El Salvador and validated MS-13 gang members. They were found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and organized criminal activity.

The judge announced the verdict on 11/14.

Court documents showed that the suspects took the victim into the woods, gagged her, and forced her to kneel before stabbing her to death with a machete. The body remained in a shallow grave before being discovered 4 months later.

There are plenty other threads that have details about those egregious crimes.

This one is dedicated to illegal aliens and mass deportation. Some of you here seem to believe that only "good hard-working" migrants who have committed no crimes are being picked up by ICE. The past few posts are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to illegal alien criminals. And, these are criminals who have made the news in the past couple days. ICE is regularly arresting, detaining and prosecuting or deporting these scumbags.

I wish this narrative would stop.
1. It was always said that there would be mass deportation. Always. Saying that the priority would be criminals does not mean non-criminals get to continue to ignore deportation orders from judges and continue on living life here. When a person has had their day in court and the judge rules against their asylum claim,they should be going back to their home country promptly not doing check ins annually for decades in perpetuity.

2. The law should be applied even to people who are nice and hard working. In reality that means not everyone is going to get to stay here just because they want to. Good people still have to follow the law. Why is there this narrative that if you're nice (or have kids, or good work ethic,or humble, or a good student, or are an aspiring dentist, etc.) that is grounds to ignore the law and judges orders? The message in the media and from the left is that being a non-criminal should be grounds to ignore the law and that you are entitled to do so.
