Better players!? Get a grip! Matthew Beachley is the best attackman in the country right now. Who on GC will stand a fighting chance in stopping his fiery blaze of domination? The WCAC is looking forward to the day that Beachley graduates and stops terrorizing high school teams. |
| One decent attackman does not make the team. He’s ok but that’s about it! |
| Based on culver result tonight, WCAC ship will be running through eye street this Spring |
| Wow GZ impressive! Where did that come from? Kings of sad DC. Didn't Culver just play their gk at attack up 18-4 on STJ? |
12-9 PVI |
They are so good. |

New coach who thinks he will “win a championship” because he was at a school that won 3 in a completely different era lacks an understanding that coaching requires a bit more. He lacks experience and character (Spalding should have called him out). DM looked decent and held their own in the fall. Using two players for ‘offense’ is not an offense. He admitted he wanted the job so he took it- despite having no legitimate experience- per Washington Post article. Pretty sure the last coach had them in the semifinals the last two years- guess time will tell for this one. |
| Undefeated Bullis takes on MIAA's Loyola Blakefield tonight. Bullis is DC area's best hope to have a team finish in top 25. |
| I predict Good Counsel vs Gonzaga in WCAC Championship game. |
I'm not sold on the Bullis hype just yet... They have a 5-0 record but their schedule has been light. Bulldogs wins have come against DeMatha, Saint James, Spalding, GC, Chestnut Hill. As previous posters have said, DeMatha is way down this year, and Saint James is a middle of the road MAC team. Chestnut Hill is no powerhouse from the Philly Inter-Ac league. The 1 goal victory over Spalding doesn't look that impressive and beating GC by only 3 is also a bit suspect (though GC's program is on the rise). We will have a good sense of just how strong this Bullis squad is after tonight's game with Loyolable Blakefield and their game with St. Pauls next week. |
Loyola B is not very good this year. They are currently 1-3. |
