Help! Has this ever happened to you? It is very slight right now and not very noticeable. Has anyone experienced this? Did it get worse before it got better? I have a call into my dermatologist. I understand there are eye drops that can be taken.
Any experience that you would be willing to share is greatly appreciated. |
| This has never happened to me, but I'd like to hear what your doctor says. Where was your Botox injected? I've only had it in my ) ( creases and forehead. |
| Could get worse before better - but, it will get better. |
| Serves you the hell right. Be natural. |
| Sorry this happened. Will definitely get better in time. A fairly common side effect. Tell your doc. Pp, so unnecessary!!!!! |
| OP here. My Dr gave me Iopidine .5% and it seems to be working already! |
| Sorry, this makes me queasy. I can't understand the thought of voluntarily injecting botulism into your body. *shudder* |
| OP, don't listen to the people on this board who choose to be mean. I hope your situation corrects itself. |
agree so weird and totally unnatural! What did you expect, OP? Do you think your body just loves taking in foreign substances? |
That. |
| Yikes. Hopefully this will make you realize that you are beautiful the way you are! |

For everyone who is being rude please tell us your age and then get back to us in 15 years.
There is nothing wrong with getting a little help. Although, I agree you can overdo it and look bad. But, most doctors in this area are reputable and don't go overboard. OP, who is your doctor? or at least give us a general location. |

This happened to me too. It was slight, but I could see it. The dr (who I had seen several times before and had a HORRID bedside manner) injected a TON during this visit for some reason (my total was just under $1000!!!) and my eye started to droop slightly. It was horrible and upsetting. She completely froze the top of my face, ripped me off (previous visits had been in the $600 range and she said NOTHING about injecting more) and then, when I came back with the slightly drooping eye, she had no clue who I was. I had stepped out of the room to ask where the dr was (since she was running almost an HOUR late at this point for the appointment and of course the receptionist had failed to tell me this when i specifically called to ask if she was running late because she had a habit of doing this) and she was picking up my chart from the door, looks at the name and says, "oh, is this you?" or something like that. I was so upset. She had no clue who I even was after I had just seen her about a week before, she had messed up my face, and this was probably the 4th or 5th time I had been to her for botox. Needless to say, I switched Doctors. She was definitely one who was supposed to be "reputable." Clearly not the case.
It cleared up fast with the drops though, OP. Don't worry. It will be okay. Sorry about your experience. |
