My eye won't open all the way after Botox!

That can happen, but you'd probably have the same issue if you got shot in the eye with a load of jizz. And now that the wrinkles are gone, that's probably on the way too. Better get more eye drops.

For everyone who is being rude please tell us your age and then get back to us in 15 years.

There is nothing wrong with getting a little help. Although, I agree you can overdo it and look bad. But, most doctors in this area are reputable and don't go overboard.

This +1000

Time has a way of changing the high and mighty.

Good luck OP.

OP, maybe try Dr. Bruno - I think he is in Bethesda.

The dr (who I had seen several times before and had a HORRID bedside manner) injected a TON during this visit for some reason (my total was just under $1000!!!) and my eye started to droop slightly. It was horrible and upsetting. She completely froze the top of my face, ripped me off (previous visits had been in the $600 range and she said NOTHING about injecting more) and then, when I came back with the slightly drooping eye, she had no clue who I was. I had stepped out of the room to ask where the dr was (since she was running almost an HOUR late at this point for the appointment and of course the receptionist had failed to tell me this when i specifically called to ask if she was running late because she had a habit of doing this) and she was picking up my chart from the door, looks at the name and says, "oh, is this you?" or something like that. I was so upset. She had no clue who I even was after I had just seen her about a week before, she had messed up my face, and this was probably the 4th or 5th time I had been to her for botox. Needless to say, I switched Doctors. She was definitely one who was supposed to be "reputable." Clearly not the case.

It cleared up fast with the drops though, OP. Don't worry. It will be okay. Sorry about your experience.

What doctor?!?!?

OP, who is your doctor? or at least give us a general location.

49. Not a snowball's chance in hell would I let one of those needles near my face. How old are you?

I'm sorry this happened, OP, but there is no such thing as a zero-risk medical procedure. Which is why they should be avoided unless medically necessary.

Jizz? Was that really necessary?

Um, yeah, this thread is two years old, so I don't think the OP is here for your (incorrect) advice.

I do it every 3 months. 400 units into my calves to control muscle spasms.

It HURTS, and while I cannot imagine doing this for cosmetic reasons.. OP, I hope things have settled down. I notice more weakness in the 24 hours after botox, maybe that's all it is?
