She's one of the most calculating, unlikeable humans I've ever read about. And she is not a NYT writer. She wrote one ill-timed op-ed whining about a miscarriage while 300,000+ Americans alone are dying of Covid. Right now is NOT the time to write about yourself and claim that what happened to you is special. One-in-four pregnancies ends in miscarriage, and there isn't any stigma around it anymore, at least in my circles.

Of course, only your circle is important. Get over yourself. Okay she wasn't talking about you and your foo-foo circle. However, many women do experience guilt and in some communities there is still stigma.

NP. I agree that the card looks a bit cheap, but that's what I'd prefer to see, since they should be supporting themselves now.

I'd rather they donate money to a good cause than spend it on an expensive photographer. Especially if the money is coming from the public in the first place!
