Agreed. It's like she wants to be a brand, but just doesn't have the smarts/connections/wear withal to make it happen. Sadly P was her golden ticket to the entertainment world, and now that's bust. Time to start thinking about a real j-o-b. Didn't she work in a salon when they were first married?

When I see comments like this on here, I wonder if its Kane or one of the paid Interns asked to write this. They decided for her to be a stay at home mom, how is she using P for her golden ticket. people keep forgetting that she was with him way before the fame and money, so how do you explain that

I wrote the above. Not a Kane show employee or fan, just a longtime (former) listener and reader of N's blog. Yes, they were together before he made it big, but she was working back then too. They've both said the kids came faster than he'd planned, and I think N was calling the shots at that point because P was 1) Not ready for a family, and 2) So in love with the beautiful Natasha that, if she wanted to stay home, sure! Fast forward a few years to find two kids and now she's a self-described mommy blogger, which now we know P actually set up for her under his info. She blogs recipes and crafts and a few personal things over the years, but she's never doing it faithfully the amount she must to make it a real success. Lots of local followers -- mainly listeners of her husband's show (heck, that's how I learned about way back when). That led to a few TV spots (you won't convince me that she didn't sell herself as the wife of a national radio personality) that were pretty unremarkable. Now it's the sad tale of will-she-or-won't-she keep blogging. It's almost an inconvenience, but her only connection to leagues of cheerleaders and fans. It's not a business. She had that opportunity, truly, and didn't capitalize. I think they were both satisfied with her being the lovely mom and housewife with the little blog. And now she has to figure out her next step, and the blog doesn't have the viability.

I moved out of the DC area 2 years ago and I listened to the Kane show on the regular for years. I kept listening on the iheart app and I found myself listening less and less over time because it really has gotten so stale and almost depressing. I just cannot stand Danni and her sanctimommy attitude, but I do have to say I like John. I probably like him more now because he shows some animosity towards her. I don't often wish for people to fail, but I do think the hosts all need a big reality check. They think they are too big to fail and have just gotten lazy with the quality of the show. Also, a big lol to the vacation video.

Feel free to chime in on Sarah's podcast here: http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/526845.page

I swear the podcast has an intern lurking on here. Every damn time someone brings it up someone immediately posts this link and tries to get a thread about them going.

No one said she was using him, the pp said he was her golden ticket and she didn't take advantage.

Also, he was well established and doing just fine when they met. It's part of why she was attracted to him in the first place, don't kid yourself. Don't try to paint a picture of her standing by a struggling man on the come up, cuz he wasn't.

I thought when they met when he wasn't that big in the radio world. Unless this is a lie, they met because she was at the station to pick up a prize from a radio station.

Did he say this on the air or something? That's hilarious.

I'm not sure that's right. She dabbled in radio some too. Somewhere in this mess of a thread (or in Thread 1), there's a link to her old My Space or radio personality page.

Now she fancies herself an "Independent Arts and Crafts Professional", per LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/natasha-elisa-a67a5933

Hilarious, but a sweet gig if you can get it. In N's case, she probably won't be able to keep it.

Just heard on EITM that doctors are encouraged to screen for depression during doctor visits, especially for pregnant and new moms. Get ready for Danni getting on her soap box and I'm sure she's going to say that screening for anxiety needs to be included in this.

And you know she'll take credit for it being raised as an issue. Danni saves the world!

I'm not a keeper of texts and private messages. But, whatever. I have nothing to gain by "spinning a tale" LOL! I was simply sharing my experience with her.

that makes absolutely no sense. Why delete facebook messages unless you are doing some shady shit? They don't take up space on your phone, they just hang out. Definitely sound like you are trying to make yourself relevant with some comments and that you made her announce her divorce. smhl.

Not only that, but private messages stay on Facebook forever anyway.....when you are on a PC and using facebook.com.

That isn't too smart to delete texts (not factoring this discussion into it) because you never know when you will need to reference something from weeks or months ago. As the PP said, it doesn't take up much space in your phone.

Danni seriously said today that tinted moisturizer is moisturizer that has tint. I need a new show.

+1

If PP had the gold he/she wrote about, he/she would not have deleted private messages. Who does that? Sorry PP. It was a good tale while it lasted.

I rolled my eyes at that too, but I'm sorry, that Oprah bread commercial bit today was HILARIOUS! I never expected the Kane Show to make me laugh like old times. But there I was in my car wiping tears away as I laughed.
"That's the GEEEEEEENIUS!" "I...LOVE...BREAD!" Lol

Yet, if you tweet how much you love Danni and how she is the savior to this lost and broken world, she will retweet you faster than Kane, Intern John, and Eric could house a Thanksgiving turkey!
