Completely agree that the three RL dresses were amazing and that JLo looked (and often looks) stunning - not even taking into account that she’s 53. Strongly disagree that Ben Affleck is her happily ever after!

She is indeed a master whenbit comes to sticking to her priorities-- optics, appearance, career, and looking as beautiful amd sexy as she can.

I agree but can't imagine any counselor or therapist thinking the excessive stress, photographers, and publicity from all of these unnecessary repeat weddings and social events is beneficial to his emotional health.

Right...and he picked someone who lives for the red hot spotlight like no one else, completely over the top. It's not like she's in any way a relatively private celebrity. She's not particularly reality based or patient or particularly calm in terms if her lifestyle. She herself speaks of her entourage in her daily life. Her instagrams are full of parties, her dancing like she's at a frat house. I think it was a really masochistic, self defeating act on his part. I really do...unconscious perhaps but really unlike to serve him long term.

They're both people that look like they say f you to anyone who tells them anything they don't want to hear. But neither has particularly sound judgment. He knows the circus that is her lifestyle, and he went towards it again. It reminds me of my mother's common refrain, "Some people simply never learn" .

Probably...what brother wants his brother to be someone's fourth husband? Is that the kind of thing you can say to your brother? Probably not. So yea, you sort of avoid it and them. Maybe he knows he's not clean and sober, maybe he has feelings for the new partner, maybe he's exhausted by his brother's issues. There could be many issues involved.

No, last week before my kid moves out? Last time it truly feels like he lives there? Yeah, I’m not missing that and hurrying it along for a wedding that won’t last and when my brother didn’t bother to care whether I attended or not. If the kid isn’t a freshman, I agree with you totally that he should have gone.

It does seem like addicts often go hard core into something else to replace the endorphins from the drug—exercise, religion, something like that. I guess the J Lo publicity circus could be his new endorphin rush. I do hope it brings them both joy. I remember seeing a Liz Taylor quite about her many marriages that was something to the effect of yeah, you could look at it like a bad thing that I had so many marriages, or you could see it as a good thing that I had so many loves, and never gave up on love. It did give me new perspective—most of us just get jaded and cynical from one failed love! Kudos to them for trying again, even if it isn’t forever — to paraphrase Garth brooks, at least they’re not missing the dance.
