Me: 20 minutes

Live in GP, work in Columbia Heights

When I take the bus it takes about 40 minutes door to door (transferring buses at Dupont)

10 minute walk. I pass the gym on the way. It's right at the midpoint between home and office. I can also take the metro but that takes 10 minutes counting walking there. Second stop. Live and work downtown DC.

Not my commute, but my former supervisor: we work in Bethesda in an office building. She lives in the apartment building right next door. Two minute walk.

Oh MAN. I was just coming here to post about the long agonizing walk across the hall from my bedroom to my home office.

10 minute walk poster. This was me when I worked in Midtown Manhattan. I worked in the building next door, 4th floor, and lived on the 26th floor next door. Could not quite do the same in DC unfortunately.
