I think she did have a medical issue of some sort but the Palace misread the current tone of society right now. However if it’s true that the King’s health is worse than thought, then maybe they’re creating a scandal with Kate deliberately in order to distract.

Plus Camilla went on a Sunny tropical vaca last week…how exactly would that timing look when it comes out?

Camilla went on holiday last week but the news hasn't broken yet? How does that even work?

If she needed leverage bc her husband wants to continue with his affair and/or he’s asked to divorce before becoming king (knowing he couldn’t get a divorce once king as head of the Church of England)….

I think that might be some people's goal but I actually don't need her to share her medical information. I am curious about the frankly insane behavior from the Kensington Palace press office, and to me that's where the drama is. If this were really just about a medical issue and recovery, and nothing more, I don't think we'd be getting weird contradictory messages from KP, and they wouldn't have tried to doctor a 5 month old photo and pass it off as new (and no, I don't believe that Catherine randomly decided to change all the colors/patterns in the photo for fun before posting it herself to their official Instagram page and distributing a copy to news agencies on her own).

This is not about invading the privacy of a woman having a medical issue. It's about a powerful, wealthy institution behaving in an erratic and suspicious way that raises questions.

They will likely go to boarding school even if no divorce. Perhaps return home on weekends, they have been looking at schools nearby.

If Kate waltzes into a garden party after Easter looking perfectly healthy and as if nothing happened, that’s not going to be good pr for her either. Nobody can think of an abdominal surgery it takes three months to recover from (I’ve had abdominal surgery).

Even if there’s a colostomy bag, she could have sat for a photo with a jacket over it/not done anything for Mothers’ Day, which would have been better than that doctored photo.

So the press would pivot to how she’s so lazy she took off 3 months for something for which rest of us get a month off. They’d say she’s too vain to sit for a photo with a puffy face or hands.

You Kate worshippers who believe this is the case had better get new talking points ready.

I think we all know the photo is a fake. We all know something is up and the cat is firmly out of the bag.

the only question now is whether they are heading for divorce; what are the grounds; what are her terms for return to the marriage; and who had the AP. Or long shot that neither did and she is just done with her position. Given how hard Kate and the Middletons lobbied for this role and their new found rank in society, I find it implausible that she or the family would leave. Maybe the Middletons want money? I will also say, for those still hung up on the picture, there are many articles, such as this one from the telegraph, that explain the degree of photoshopping, which explains why it’s a problem. You can’t merge someone’s head and then claim it as fact

Also, for those concerned it’s an invasion of her privacy, she’s the future queen of England and the hypocrisy is stunning. Case in point, Celia Walden of the Telegraph just released an article titled “Shameful Speculation about the Princess of Wales’ Health has to Stop” yet when MM had Archie, her piece said “Meghan Can’t Demand Privacy for baby Archie while asking the public to fund her family’s lifestyle.” So which is it?

Read what Kate's uncle just said. This is NOT how you talk about someone who is just recovering from surgery, there is some other condition (eating disorder?) being treated. What is he waiting for "to be announced"?
