| This is an excellent picture of why she should lose the crop pants. She never gets the length and cut right for her height. Wear a suit or wear crop pants. But not both. On Kayleigh a crop pants suit might be age (but not office/position) appropriate, but on a 40+ year old, it’s just silly and not professional. |

Why did she change out of the flats for the group photo? They seem more appropriate for crop pants. Plus, she appears oddly taller than everyone else with the heels.
How does someone with so much disposable income always miss on her wardrobe choices? So many questions.... |

| I think the red suit's not bad. I wouldn't wear it, but it's basically fine except for the absurd length. And even the length isn't as bad when she's wearing it with the flats. It's the super crop with the super high heel shoes that is ridiculous. Oddly, this is a look the Melania kept wearing several years ago. Melania seems to have moved on from the double-breasted blazer with too-short copped pants and stiilletos -- I wonder why Ivanka is just now getting to it? |

I believe Robin Givhan used the word “perched” when writing about the Trump women’s fashion choices — as in, the Trump women are always precariously perched atop these sky-high heels.
The pants are meant to showcase the sexy shoes. |

I have thoughts but they would be removed for crassness. Please enjoy your own version of my judgmental thoughts. Seriously that woman can’t dress herself. Those shoes. The filmy clingy quality of the dress, AGAIN for a “presidential** advisor.” Her bought and paid for figure. If she came by those naturally I wouldn’t judge (though I would question how she got to 42 or whatever without knowing how to flatter her body), but they’re just so garish. |

The crop would be fine with high heels. What's happening here is that shoes with ankle straps visually break up the line of the leg. Both her flats and her heels do this with their straps. In general, this kind of strap makes your legs look shorter and calves thicker. When you add in the cropped pant, it adds another break in that line and is a look that is hard to pull off in a flattering way. Super bizarre choice to wear both of these shoes with a pant suit. For them to work, you need to show a lot of leg to compensate for those visual cuts. |
