Soccer
No one is denying any of it. We are saying that at the end of the day US Soccer will decide —and what they decide is what the youth leagues decide. As of now, US Soccer has no real reason to move back. That is what we are saying. DPLs pr basically is basically saying what we have all been saying. That it will be decided in November. There are some SY freaks that are saying it’s a done deal when that is not true. |
You have the info can you just say what false info is out there? Or what is being said on the emails? That way people don’t have to be a detectives. |
Was the information on the emails fake? Meaning the email may have been fake but was the content fake? Or do we know. Again you do not provide context outside of just saying people are making things up. |
| A lot of misinformation spreading on both sides. Reading the tea leaves, it seems that a change seems very likely, the question will be when does it go into effect. Some leagues may be fall 2025. Others maybe fall 2026. But there is too much noise and signaling that suggests a change is coming. |
Also what emails? I haven’t seen one email posted here? |
I think you’re largely mistaking “prove it” for “it’s fake.” That said, I am surprised that the final vote is in November. It’s shocking that it’s moved so quickly from June ECNL trial balloon podcast, to August surveys, to a November final vote at the federation level. No doubt discussions were happening before the summer about the topic if November really ends up being the final vote. |
Emails were faked Content may or may not be true. Most people will discount anything written in a faked email no matter what it says. |
Just think about what you said. I’m paraphrasing so you can correct me. US soccer will decide based off what the youth leagues decide? So if someone gets info from a youth league who has decided to switch to SY. Then that means it is a done deal outside of a vote that is just for show at that point? It’s a predetermined vote essentially. Because why would the youth leagues push something for a vote unless they wanted to change the rules? |
Go find it yourself. Go to SoccerParenLife on IG story and you will see the email that “someone received”. |

Pretty sad state of affairs that the only group to publicly address something that affects 3 million+ kids is DPL.
Not GA, not ECNL, not MLSN, not NPL, not the state bodies, not USYS, Not UsClub, not USSF, not USSSA, not AYSO. Good for DPL, they did it right. |
Got it! Thanks. I have not seen an email on here so I wasn’t sure what you’re referencing. Can you provide details for the emails? How long ago were they sent out? What was said? Etc. |
Because we don’t know for sure what leagues have decided what. Youth soccer is more than just ECNL. USYS was not 100% sold but could be influenced. You don’t know AYSOs stance. You don’t know USSSAs stance. |
DPL's notice mentions that this has been discussed for much of the year so maybe less quick they it seems. |
ECNL talked about it on the podcast. Which they should put out a statement of some kind. But want the views. US Club is connected to many leagues. I’m sure many are just waiting for it to be official. I’m not sure why DPL felt the need to say something so early about it? |
Yep. People asked questions and they delivered. ECNL: people asked questions and they took it to a Podcast??? |
